Went to the Babies/Real Estate show at Lee’s Palace last night!  It was wonderful.  Cassie’s hand drawn Babies tee will go nicely in my closet next to Cassie’s hand drawn Vivian Girls tee (which I wore to the show last night).  And that album cover - look familiar?

Now you’re probably thinking, “Wow, wasn’t that show sold out?  You were smart to get a ticket in time!”  BUT!  The joke’s on you!  I am not smart and did not get a ticket! How did I get in then?  THIS TOTALLY HAPPENED!!!!!

HOW FUCKING AMAZING IS CASSIE RAMONE??????????? I love her so much.   I love Vivian Girls.  I love the Babies.  I brought her copies of Worn and gave them to her in the grrrl’s washroom and talked way too much about how much it has been snowing lately because I couldn’t think of anything cooler to say and she was like “NICE T-SHIRT” and I was like “Oh, yeah” (because I realised I probably looked like an obsessed fan at that point, which I WAS, but not in a scary way).  And then I went home and changed into my new Babies t-shirt and still haven’t taken it off and I’ve been listening to my new record nonstop.
